Elmo Motion Control added the Solo Whistle to its family of servo drives. This ready-to-use integrated device is designed to connect the company's Whistle Servo Drive directly to the application. The solution consists of the Whistle plus a connection interface which either eliminates or reduces development time and resources when designing an application's PCB board. The Solo Whistle can be set up and tuned using the company's Composer software tools. Features include advanced motion control capabilities in a compact package, support for a a wide variety of feedbacks, high level programming environment, high power density incorporated with the SimplIQ servo core with motion capabilities, and it is mountable anywhere — in the motor, in the machine, on the load, or attached to the moving part.
